CBCS SYSTEM – C U Shah Science College, Ahmedabad

Since academic year 2011-12, as per Gujarat University norms, the college has adopted CBCS pattern..

Students have to study some core theory papers and practical, one elective or subjective elective theory paper and one compulsory paper (English).
On the base of merit and availability of the seat, student can select the core subjects.
There is a semester system, so student has to clear six semesters to receive the B.Sc. degree.
All the semester has same credit and waitage.
In all semester student will get SGPA and finally as a average, CGPA.
The internal marks (30%) will be on continuous assessment like presence, submission of assignment, quiz and internal examination.
