From My Heart

Have you seen a person whose dreams may have realized at the same place where they were dreamt? Well I have that honour and today I am profoundly happy to share with you that this is the institute where I have studied, joined as a lecturer, became Head of Department in Physics & Electronics, and today here I am, as a mentor of the future generation, at the helm of this institute. A story of how great our institute, C.U.Shah Science College is, in imparting highest quality of education along with guiding and preparing students to dream about achieving their goals and how faculties help them in achieving it. I am proud to be a part of our legacy.  With an immense pleasure I, well come you all at C.U.Shah Science College, a part of C.U.Ronak foundation with legacy of creating the generation after generations with highest standard of education.

The C.U. Shah Science College was established in 1960 by the trust. It was a time when every day, new discovery were being announced and every day, new horizons were being conquered on scientific front. Human race was already planning to reach Moon and wanted to explore unknown fields of un-chartered frontiers of science.

During this great revolutionary time and era, our college was started with an aim to contribute its share in the field of science. Management wanted the Gujarat and Gujarati community to be literate about the science and scientific development so they can also contribute towards the development of newly formed state of Gujarat and to the nation.

I am here to continue the promised pursuit of knowledge, given by our GURUs at the beginning of the C.U.Shah Science College. To achieve it, let me assure you of my efforts to give more to the persons, who are looking fore “more”, be it students or faculty members and teachers as we strive to seek excellence in what we do and hold the hands of

Gen-Next and guide them to the bright future.  It is essential that we prepare our GenNext well for the betterment of our society as well as the country. Today India is being watched by the entire world, is on the threshold of being declared as a developed country. And our country’s strength of achievements lies in our literacy, intellectual human resources as well as development and research at the industrial and science frontiers.

If we look at this phenomenon of sudden development and international standings on all fronts, we find certain individual’s roll highly significant. They are the policy makers, thinkers, dreamers and achievers in the form of industrialist, technocrats, academicians, along with corporate giants who started with a dreams and achieved it at such speed and proportion that it forced the world   to take a note of their presence at global scenario. They are the dream Merchants of the India, without gender discrimination. They have played a major roll as a catalyst for the new standing of the country at a world scenario.

And that is where our roll starts. To create the new generations   equipped with proper knowledge. As the head of this institution, I feel that the team work is imperative to accomplish a mission, so, I always consider students as a big assets, because, all our efforts are for them; for their enlightenment, their future and for a better society. Without students, the institution is of no meaning. If they succeed, the institution succeeds and the nation succeeds. So, all our resources and knowledge are meant for them and I hope them to make use of it.

C.U.Shah Science College is committed to become the leading institute of science in the state and I want to achieve this with overall development of the students. I as a Principal, I am very happy to acknowledge the help and the support extended by the Managing Trustee and entire staff of my college in achieving this higher cause.

At the end, I would like to address all alumni, inviting them to extend their large-heartedness in guiding the present student fraternity with their worldly experience and acquired wisdom.  i would like you, as practitioners of modern society, to share your professional experiences, skills and knowledge with the students; to give an overview of your work, its nuances, the real world factors related to it, the problems and their solutions. Kindly encompass them in your fold where ever you see the opportunity.
